On January 18, 2024, the engineering and architect's office Amhold Ltd completed the preliminary design for the strengthening of the load-bearing structures of the residential building and the construction of the extension due to the risk of collapse of the Peter the Great military underground tunnel.
The construction project has solved the residential building of Vanasilla 71 (Laagri township, Saue parish, Harju county) and its facilities: fecal and rainwater drainage, domestic water pipeline and its protective pipe, electric cable and its protective pipe, road and parking surfaces (other facilities, e.g. children's play facilities), load-bearing walls and strengthening of the foundations and the construction project of the supported extension to prevent the risk of collapse due to the circumstances of the underground military tunnel and the risk factors that emerged from the research work - "Studies of the Pääsküla position of the Emperor Peter the Great marine defense facility".
